Founding Fathers Would Be Ashamed Of Modern Men - How we Can Change
Our hope is in Christ, and more importantly, our faith should be for his strength
This has been on my heart for a few weeks, so I had to slow down and share it. I frequently come across men who seem to be immersed in negative thinking and lack optimism about the future. And I get it to an extent. The world is filled with clowns who do and desire evil things.
The macro isn’t pretty.
But on a micro level, God is in control, and it’s through the impact of your life. The Lord wants you to impact the hearts of men, helping them live a life of strength.
No matter who is president, the government won’t fix things broadly. So it is time we held these leaders accountable while serving our neighbors and making an impact locally, which impacts national decision-making.
The Declaration of Independence is something I think most don’t slow down to read.
Give it a quick read; it’s not long.
A quote that stands out in the last sentence is:
And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.
The Founding Fathers would be ashamed of the men of our generation.
While this nation, which was founded under God, is under attack, we often sit back and do not hold leadership to account. We quietly let the days pass by, we get caught up in our day-to-day and do not defend our children’s schools, or developments in our cities, or put our tail in a seat to speak up and hold leadership to account when things go off track.
Founding fathers mutually pledged their lives, fortune, and sacred honor. This sounds like a truly fearless man.
We will come back to some more of the state- and local-level stuff. For a moment, I want to tell a story.
Some background and details from a friend
6 months ago, a brother of mine in Colorado was telling me about how many kids in school no longer identify as their true gender. It was a majority in this Larimer County school district, he shared (he attends each school meeting and is one of the very few men who show up). He shared how it is mostly mothers and women who show up, and the men are absent. Now, while I am a man who believes everyone has every right to do what they desire with their life, I also believe that one reason much of this is happening is because of the lack of accountability from men. Schools in Colorado are teaching kids sodomy (one reason why we moved away) — Schools are a tool to shape kids, colleges then ingrain things into people, and these people then go into institutions and shape how our world functions.
Everything is under attack. And in this case, specifically, it is the masculine and feminine roles men and women play inside the home of a family. If these two remain under attack, and God-fearing men do not speak up and protect our kids, well, the doomers know where it’s headed.
Back to the Founding Fathers.
America was founded on a few things. Taxation without representation is one. Other factors included restrictions on trade, a lack of political representation, and violations of individual rights that hindered economic opportunity and religious freedom, to name a few.
Everything sacred is under attack. I get why so many dudes are of the mindset that “it won’t improve,” and I think those men are wrong.
MLK’s speech changed a generation. Stories matter. Passion matters. One man can make a change, and we must speak life into it and inspire those who need it.
Each day, we need to wake up and focus locally. What can I do for my wife? My kids? My neighbor? My community? My church?
When enough men live a life of intention and focus on building systems and processes locally, we build the future we want to see.
WHY YOU SHOULD BE EXCITED
We have state’s rights.
We have a new form of money that can not be centrally controlled
State rights give us the ability to move to a jurisdiction that aligns with our beliefs. Bitcoin gives us money that no government can ban, debase, or centrally control, which gives every individual autonomy and freedom to transact without overreach. Money is at the root of every single economic transaction on earth. So money is separated from state matters.
We separated the church from the state.
We are now separating money from the state.
It is time men held leadership accountable.
It is time that men get optimistic.
The frail, weak, tired, and feminine church isn’t going to get us where we need to go.
May this be a rallying cry and encouragement for men to educate themselves on what to focus on and how we can protect the next generation of humans who are so lucky to be in this great nation.
